OHIO STATE CAPS HIGHLY REGARDED 2018 RECRUITING CLASS The
2018 class of recruits that coach Urban Meyer and his Ohio State
football program have secured will be among the best classes in the
nation. The class includes five more players who signed national
letters of intent with the Buckeyes on Wednesday and, including the 21

Open Fall Camp 103 Strong
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 122nd season of Ohio State football kicked off at
the Harmon Family Football Park at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center with
103 players taking the field for new coach Luke Fickell.
Fickell, the Columbus native and Ohio State graduate, is the 23rd head
coach in school history and only the fifth head coach in the last 60
years. He stepped onto the outdoor practice fields for the first time
as Ohio State head coach at 9:17 a.m.

State Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2011 Announced
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame will grow by 11
members this year, as six men and five women will be inducted the
weekend of Sept. 9 and 10 the Men's Varsity O Alumni Association and
the Women's Varsity O Alumnae Society announced Wednesday. The class
will be officially inducted Sept. 9 during a ceremonial dinner and
introduced to the public at halftime of the Ohio State home football
game against Toledo Sept. 10.
The 2011 class includes: Didi Albrecht (rowing), Raj Bhavsar (men’s
gymnastics), Mitch Clark (wrestling), Katy Craig (women’s track and

Jent Added to Men's Basketball Staff
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Chris Jent is
returning to his alma mater as an assistant men’s basketball coach,
Thad Matta, head coach of the Buckeyes, announced Wednesday. Jent fills
the spot previously held by Brandon Miller, who recently resigned to
spend more time with his family.
