Four Commit to Join Buckeyes in 2012-13
COLUMBUS,
Ohio – Mark Osiecki, Ohio State men’s hockey head coach, announced the
signing of four players to National Letters of Intent to enroll in Ohio
State and skate for the Buckeyes beginning in 2012-13. The newest
Buckeyes include goalie Collin Olson, defensemen Craig Dalrymple and
Sam Jardine and forward Tyler Lundey.
Collin Olson
G, 6-3, 205
Apple Valley, Minn./U.S. National Under-18 Team (NTDP)
Big
goalie who is in his second year with the U.S. National Team
Development Program … according to Osiecki, is calm and under control
in the net and has potential to be a high-end goaltender … cited as one
to watch by NHL Central Scouting in its preliminary rankings released
this week … has seen action in 11 games this year and has a 4-4 record,
with a 2.46 goals-against average and .900 save percentage … recently
returned from Switzerland where he and Team USA won the 2011 Under-18
Four Nations Tournament … played in 22 games against junior competition
for the U.S. National Under-17 team in 2010-11, with an 11-9-1 record …
saw action in 30 total games last year, with a 2.57 gaa and .905 svpct.
with three shutouts … member of U.S. Under-17 team that won the 2011
Vlad Dzurilla U-18 Tournament title and the 2010 Four Nations Cup …
also competed in 2011 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, with 2-0-0

playoff games … skated with the Stratford Cullitons in 2009-10 and

NHL Entry Draft (No. 169 overall) … led Team Canada West to a gold
medal at the 2011 World Junior A Challenge, held Nov. 7-13 in Langley,
British Columbia, serving as a team captain; had three assists in the
tournament … also played for Canada West in the 2010 event … in
second full season with the Camrose Kodiaks in the Alberta Junior
Hockey League and has 10 points (2g, 8a) in 23 games so far this year
while serving as a team captain … named to Team West at the 2010 CJHL
Prospects Game … finalist for 2011 AJHL Rookie of the Year and earned a

23 points in 54 regular-season games last year … 2-4-6 line in the
team’s playoff run … has skated in 15 games this year and has 11
points, including five goals … played with the Wichita Falls Wildcats
in the NAHL in 2009-10, recording 41 points on 13 goals and 28 assists
in 58 games.
