MSU defeats Southeastern Louisiana in the final game
After
struggling to find offense all weekend, the bats came to life on Sunday
for the Michigan State baseball team, as the Spartans put a run on the
board in five consecutive innings to beat Southeastern Louisiana, 9-2,
and improve to 3-3 on the year. The Spartans had 10 hits in the game,
led by Zack McGuire and Chad Roskelly, who went a combined 6-for-8 with
four RBIs and three runs. Spartans Wrap Up Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational

State wrapped up competition at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Regatta, lining
up with Virginia and Louisville. MSU got a pair of second-place

by three wins and five school record-setting performances, Michigan
State capped off a great weekend at the SPIRE Invitational on Saturday
in Geneva, Ohio. Rachele Schulist (3,000m), Aubrey Wilberding (800m),
Leah O’Connor (mile), Tori Franklin (triple jump) and DeVantré Whitelow
(60m) all turned in personal-bests and tied or set MSU records in their

The
Michigan State hockey team played to a 1-1 tie with Ohio State on
Saturday night in Columbus, Ohio, but wound up taking the shootout,
3-2, to earn the extra point in the Big Ten standings. MSU
