Junior posted five goals in victory over Denver
COLUMBUS,
Ohio – Logan Schuss, a junior attackman on the No. 11/12 Ohio State

Player of the Week Monday. He led Ohio State (3-0, 1-0 ECAC) with five
goals in the team’s win over then-No. 5 ranked Denver Sunday in
Jacksonville, Fla.
Four of his five goals vs. the
Pioneers tied the score or put Ohio State in the lead, including the
go-ahead tally in the fourth quarter in the eventual 10-9 win.
Schuss
opened the scoring early in the first quarter, tied the game with the
first goal of the second quarter and completed the hat trick at 7:26 of
the third with a man-up goal, drawing Ohio State within one (5-4). His
fourth goal deadlocked the score at 6 at 3:44 of the third quarter and
his final goal came at 13:35 of the fourth, putting Ohio State in the
lead for the first time (9-8) since the first quarter. It was his
second career five-goal game and first since last season at Virginia. The
five goals extended Schuss’ point streak to 33, with at least one point
in each game of his collegiate career. He leads the Buckeyes with 15
points and 10 goals this season. Schuss now has 123 points to rank 20th
in Ohio State history.
