Regional and clinch a spot in the Women's College World Series.
Louisiana forced game three with a 5-0 win in the game two of the
best-of-three series held at the Wilpon Complex, home of Alumni Field.

Senior) led the team with 19 points, while sophomore guard Trey Burke

Michigan men's basketball team (No. 4 AP, No. 4 ESPN/USA Today) fell,
84-78, at Penn State on Wednesday night (Feb. 27) inside Bryce Jordan
Center. U-M led by as many as 15 points in the game but went without a
field goal for the final 6:30, allowing Penn State to gain control.

sophomore Joanna Sampson (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Moreland) -- were not
enough, as the No. 21-ranked University of Michigan women's gymnastics
team (194.850) lost a tight contest to top-ranked Utah (196.050) on
Friday night (Feb. 17) inside Crisler Center. Sampson scored a 39.250
for her second career all-around win, tying a career high with 9.925 on
floor exercise.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Junior quarterback Denard Robinson (Deerfield Beach,
Fla./Deerfield Beach) and junior running back Vincent Smith (Pahokee,
Fla./Pahokee) each eclipsed 100 yards rushing as the University of
Michigan football team ran over Eastern Michigan, 31-3, on Saturday
(Sept. 17) at Michigan Stadium. Robinson neared his career high in
rushing attempts with 26, amassing 198 yards and a touchdown, while
Smith ran the ball nine times for 118 yards.

WOMEN’S SOCCER SEASON PREVIEW
After steadily improving on its win total in the first three years of
Greg Ryan’s tenure in Ann Arbor, the University of Michigan women’s
soccer team looks to take its biggest step yet in 2011. The Wolverines
went 10‐5‐4 last season, finishing fifth in the Big Ten (5‐3‐2),
qualifying to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2006. Youth
will once again be prevalent in Ann Arbor, as 18 of the 24 players on
the roster are freshmen or
sophomores.

Rodriguez was the definition of a bad fit in his three years at
Michigan. And despite his wild conspiracy theories, RichRod's
worst enemy over the past three seasons was himself, or maybe Greg
Robinson. RichRod went 15-22 in three seasons and went to exactly one
bowl, a 52 to 14 blowout to Mississippi State.

Football Recruiting: Joe Bolden Commits
The Michigan football team picked up a commitment from Ohio linebacker
Joe Bolden on Friday. Bolden is from Cincinnati, which is also the
hometown of Michigan commits Caleb Stacey and A.J. Williams.
Bolden is the third linebacker to commit to be a part of Michigan's
2012 recruiting class. Like both Kaleb Ringer and Royce Jenkins-Stone,
Bolden is a four-star LB on Scout.
